Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program

It is well-known that low-income people use a larger proportion of their money for gambling than do high-income people. Therefore, what the “rebate program” actually does is preferentially tax low-income people, deduct a fee for administration, then return what’s left of their own money to poor people and tell them that the government is doing them a favor.

The Prohibition Party opposes all welfare schemes dependent on gambling, because these victimize the poor behind a smoke-screen of alleged benevolence.
